    So you have...

    .COM
    .NET
    .ORG
    .INFO
    .BIZ
    .CO.UK
    .IN
    .US
    .ME
    .CO
    .CA
    .MOBI

.. As the more.. 'popular' ones...

    1. Let's say .COM and .NET are taken... is .ORG worth the buy?
    2. Let's say ALL of them are taken except .IN (or something low like that), is it worth the buy?

What are you using the domains for? You put this in the lounge so it was hard to tell.

    For SEO:

    1. com
    2. net/org
    3. info
    4. us/co/de/biz/co.uk

    For investment (domain flipping):

    1. com
    2. net
    3. org
    4. de/co/co.uk
    5. info

For building a brandable business website:

    1. com
    2. a brandable hack like inter.net

I wouldn't buy anything but those unless I wanted to market to a certain country, like .in for Inidan traffic.

    .org is definitely worth it.

    if based in uk,

    .co.uk is awesome
.org.uk also receives a very similar, generous boosts

I wouldn't go for the others, but pick something brandable instead, and don't go for anything with hyphens

    Well for examples...

All the domains are taken (ALL) except .CA ... I live in Canada, so the domain is good for me.
    1.3 million local searches
14,000 eaxct global searches, 590 local searches

In that situation I would go far a long tail. By getting a .ca you'll be telling search engines you're targeting the Canadian market and you might only rank in Canada and get 590 searchers instead of 14k. With the same amount of work and a different extension you could rank in all the markets and rake in way more traffic.

I would go for the top 3 EMDs only. If they aren't available then get add a prefix/suffix on them, that would do the trick :)
