Ok I just started figuring this out. This is what I have so far... I take an html sales page and slap this on it: <?php /* Template Name: sample */ ?> I then upload the page into the current theme. I create 2 pages in the admin panel. The first called blogs, do not change theme. The second I will call salespage, but I will change the template to "sample" In the admin panel I change to a static page as the home page, "salespage" I change the blog posts to "blog" adjust my permalinks and DONE. I now have my salespage as the homepage of my blog. NOW, here is the question; I use plugins like all-in-one-seo and such. Do I need to add code into my "new home page" for this new page to be fully optimized? I don't want to carry over any theme properties, just SEO benefits. Here is the sample: Code: http://trafficgenerationclub.ca/ I created this by the method used above. Thanks, any help appreciated.
