    Hello BHW,

    Question about CPC on adsense.

I did kw research on a niche with the CPC averaging above $3, but my CPC on avg so far is about 35 cents on a new site I built.

I wonder if this is just a temporary thing and will the CPC rise higher as time goes by.

Are there any determining factors that make cpc low on adsense. The competition according to my kw research on adwords kwtool seems fairly high.

Maybe it's just a time thing.

I think the price changes like the real market .. if a niche have a high demand ..etc 3$ is good :)

It debends on how much seller bid on the word .. when you use adware to pay google ..etc

What you see CPC in adwords keyword finder is the maximum CPC bid you can quote to make your add appear first in google search results.
It doesn't mean you get same CPC on your content rich site.

See what ad's appear on your site by viewing your site from your target country IP. If you get to see ad's related to your keyword then you can't do anything wonderful to increase your CPC. But you have an option to block certain low CPC ad's which appears on your site, you can do that from your adsense panel.

On other hand if your niche has less advertisers or their CPC is very low, then you get to see "re-targeting add's" i am not sure you can stop displaying re-targeting adds.

The main determinant for making CPC low or high is the market. If more advertisers are bidding on the keyword you rank, the CPC will get higher and you will make more money. If more advertisers stop bidding on the keyword you want to rank, CPC will get lower.

    Thanks for your responses!

I've been looking this up but from what I read, it is almost near to impossible in identifying low cpc ads. Is this true?

If not, how do you find these low paying ads?
