Something doesn't make sense about the free trials from cpa networks. Lets say someone signs up for $5 s&h for a free trial of colon cleanse. The CPA network is supposed to pay you $30 on average. Why would they do this if they are only getting $5? Most people will cancel the free trial anyhow making the company lose $25. If people cancel their free trial, does that mean you will not receive the $30 from the cpa network?

    lol

Nobody can get a hold of the company to cancel...

14 days later their credit card will be hit for $40 - $90. Search for any product name that you are considering promoting and you will see what I'm talking about.

Few of them forget to cancel.
Few of them got interest to get more.

    Its all about strategy..

They will rarely make any money on the front end , all the profit is in the back end and high billing charges .

visa and mc with protect their clients in the end. if someone claims fraud, the company will issue refund to bank and back to card holder. basically you are fucking someone out of their time and providing a little frustration.

if you look at the offers from these companies (google them) you'll see that their t+c state they will bill your card right away with your shipping charge and the firsrt months supply of the product. many people have neglected to read the smallprint and have been charged (usually $50+usd). some people dont bother to get a refund and some do, i guess these companies make enough to cover costs.

Most of those CPA offers will have small print on the bottom of their landing pages - Read it, it's all explained there.

When you request the free trial you are also signing a contract to keep receiving the product, and to be billed, for around 4 or 5 months.

Good answers but I think I need to rephrase this a little bit. Lets say I get 100 people to signup for a free trial of something and that pays $30 each. So that's $3000 that the network has to pay me no matter what? If all 100 people cancel before 14 days do I still get the $3000 or am I going to be scrubbed of all 100 leads?

it would be suspicious if all of your leads cancel in their trial time

but generally when the people try to cancel their trial they will encounter with problems
for example : The company don't answer the Emails or if customers called them for refund they put them on recording message :D

I know that they are going to encounter problems cancelling but if they actually manage to cancel does my lead get scrubbed or not?

If all your leads cancel immedietly u won't get paid, but if a good chunk end up converting you should be fine

I run these offers and make that kind of money. I've had 1 chargeback with one company because of a fraud claim. I'll take 3k minus 30.00. I've been running these since last year and that's the only one I've had.

    Hope this helps.

because after you use "colon cleanse"

your colon will collapse and then you'll buy their "colon repair"

during the sign up for these they send you to 5 other cpa offers, in an attempt to get your refund..........

I'm just kidding...but I am actually learning from this thread as I too am
hoping to try some cpa offers.....

I have to keep reading hope I'll pick up a good "angle or "tweak" myself
I've heard of some pretty good conversion rates..... between 10 to 20% me being an absolute n00b when it comes to cpa, it sounds reasonable ratios... but I admit I could be way off base....

I thought you were paid per click, or action, not per trial?

that's where my ignorance on this comes into play once again
maybe if the clicks never turn into trials I could see where being booted could take
place, but I think I really have a basic misunderstanding, I'll do more reading
    (heavy n00bism)
