I'm just trying to understand what the readings of copyscape actually mean. Look below please

The comparison below was created by Copyscape, which checked 591 words of pasted text.

The page below has 94 words matching 16% of the text, as highlighted by Copyscape:

When I make my content, what is my goal? To have zero percent matching? Is there an acceptable level/percentage you shoot for to not get google duplicate content penalty?

    Thanks,

There is no duplicate content penalty. It is a myth. Google will only index a certain number of identical content and the highest pagerank wins. Usually copyscape is for an article directories that will not allow your content if large portions of it are plagiarized. Usually 30% is the target and it should be much higher if you are going to spin it multiple times.

I don't think there are penalty by google if you content are duplicate but if you 100% Copyscape pass, there will surely good because your content are unique and nobody in this world have the same content with you..

    Just my $5 cent.. :)
