Ok basically I have 4 incentive content lockers for 4 of my websites.

They receive on total about 1000-1200 unique visitors a day, but VERY little conversions. The offers I have are country specific from *******, and don't work if someone out of the country clicks on them. They are also incentive/content locker offers, so not like I'm not using offers which are not allowed in my content locker.

Why is it that I am having such a hard time converting simple email submit offers? Do the visitors also have to complete a survey or something after the email submit or something?

For example, yesterday one offer received about 82 clicks, but no conversions. I find that hard to believe, since the offer is targeted and is just a one page email submit.

What could I be doing wrong here?

    Thanks for your help.

edit: I also have a diablo 3 niche website that gets 200+ visitors daily. what would be the best way to monetize that? Would cpa work, or adsense? I'm making almost nothing from adsense on there.

Put some banners and use more creative ways to show them to your visitors. Making a list out of those visitors might help as well. I'm not a content locking fan at all ( you can probably tell haha ). Regarding the d3 site, checkout CB, there are some pretty well converting d3 products right now. I'm thinking of a way of promoting d3 products as well.

Get a proxy, install firebug onto firefox.
Request a test url from you network,
fill out the offer so you see where the offer takes you
check firebug and see if the pixel fired.

    Friend,

The problem is basic...meaning the traffic is not targeted.
I know this because if I have targeted traffic an email submit offer (for me) can convert 5-10 times after a maximum of 100 visits. Your conversion rate i.e. conversions/clicks should not be less than 10% and I am surprised that your AM has not flagged you. Also, I know that there are some super affiliates on this forum who can make the conversion happen in less clicks.

Here is my simple wisdom...traffic searching the keyword "I want an Ipad" should be presented with and Ipad offer (In their face with nothing fancy to confuse them) and they will covert. Traffic searching for "how to clean my ipad", "how to update my ipad", "new ipad apps" will likely not convert.

    Good luck

Most likely your audience isn't interested to your offers. You should target specific audience for these offers..

You have to pick the right offer and placement is important,if you have content locker then it will be fine. You will make good money. From where you are getting traffic? Are they interested in certain things?
