what all questions do they ask you when they talk to you on the phone in order to approve your account?

They just want to verify that you know what you wrote in your form. They might ask you about how you get your traffic. They might ask you to be specific about traffic sources if you say PPC. They might ask you what kind of offers you've had success with in the past. They might ask you about monthly ad spend. They might ask you about monthly income.

Just speak to them professionally, but recognize that they are humans too and are at a day job and would appreciate being engaged in conversation. In the eternal words of Colonel Sassafras, "Act shady, be shady."

Depending on who it is and how long it has been since they got laid, they might throw you a curve ball. Just be ready to bullshit. If you're totally stuck, just toss something out there like, "I'd really prefer not to divulge all of my traffic sources. I'm working with some newer media buy companies and would prefer that other affiliates and advertisers don't get in bed with them to dilute the market." Just use big, business-y sounding words.

For sources of traffic you can say:

"I focus on PPC traffic and custom built landing pages, and are looking forward to working with the managers to learn which offers are the best converters and the best to promote...."

For what offers have worked for you in the past and you're interested in promoting you can say:

"I've had some success promoting "whatever" but right now I'm focusing on e-mail and zip submits... allthough if you guys have some great converting offers outside of those categories I'd probably be more than happy to give them a go!"

    - saying that you're focused on SOMETHING is better than just saying "ummm, I'll promote anything", it shows you might "specialize" in promoting a certain offer and makes you sound like way less of a noob.

    hope that helped...

Thats weird. Copeac sent me an email telling me to call them whenever and all they asked was for me to verify my email account by telling them what it was. No other questions other then that.
