Question about change the subject of site

Hi there
for example I have a ready site - traffic index with good backlinks on the subject of "painting cars". if I change the subject such as "polishing cars" or "car wash". but the overall theme remains - "Car Care" is it bad? or not?

What do you mean by site subject? Is it the title tag that you want to change?

it will be fine, but you might want to keep any articles on painting cars that you have done incase you done seo on them.

But if i changet platform for example simple html site to joomla blog, i should do it too, right?
