I have a question on a Blogger Blog. It is better for the blog to have a regular domain instead of the blogger default domain? This blog has been around for a few years. I thank you much.

Can you explain the question a little better? I am not sure I really understand you. So you have a blog now that is mysite.blogger and you are asking if it would be better to have mysite.com?

Depends what you meant by "better", better for whom, for seo, for branding purposes?

From a seo perspective, blogger automatically redirects your old blogspot domain to the new domain, so in time all the link juice that your domain accumulated will be passed on eventually to the new domain. Same goes for ranking and content.

So moving to a proper domain is usually considered a good move, in time the seo benefit gets transferred while you also benefit from a new brandable domain.

You can start with a blogspot and later use your own domain, but you'll have to keep the host at blogger if you want to redirect it.
