so to get this straight, say i got a blog about dogs, say the domain is dogs.com

if i was to get another domain, say greendogs.com and make a 301 redirect to dogs.com/article-about-green-dogs then do the whole backlink/ranking for greendogs.com, would greendogs.com be shown in google? and will it compete against the dogs.com/article-about-green-dogs or replace it in SERPS?

    hope that makes sense

If you 301 the greendogs.com domain it will eventually be replaced with the dogs.com/article in the serps. If you build backinks to the greendogs.com domain they will be counted as pointing towards the article page on the dogs.com domain.

Quick follow up question....if you blast greendogs.com with Xrumer/Scrapebox links...what tends to happen to dogs.com? Does it get sandboxed or deindexed?
