I have a website around 6 months old, built some high quality links to it over the past 4 months. Almost all of my keywords are on second page of google, not moving to the 1 page for about 2 months now, no mater what I do. What would happen if I transfer this site to an aged domain with high quality backlinks and history(but its not niche related) and 301 my original site to it? Anybody done that?

My new sites normally takes up to 2 months before starting to show good result. Are you in a highly competitive niche?
Haven't tried 301 but have heard good results about it in an opposite way (aged domain pointing to your money site instead of the other way around).
