I have a domain name that has good PR and backlinks, but not doing so hot moneywise. If I were to just completely point that domain to another new one I'm developing would that be bad if they are different niches?

They are similar niches on a broader term for health, yet so unrelated. In other words, if anyone were to find the domain I want to transfer via search they would get something completely unexpected and bounce right off I'm sure.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks

i would transform it into a buffer site, create good content and write a review of your current money site leaving a do-follow contextual backlink on homepage of your buffer site

dont do reciprocal just one way backlink

You can try, hope it helps

    Cheers
