I bought a service that was not properly performed, and the person was being a dick about it, so I'm just gunna take the route of a chargeback. I don't wanna deal with a dispute and everything, cause that's gunna take a while to get the money back.

Now my question is, how do I go about doing this, without affecting my paypal account? Can I just call my CC company, tell them about the charge, get the money back from paypal, and keep using my paypal account without any problems? I have no idea how a chargeback works (it's not even my CC lol).

    Thanks

Well, for a chargeback, you would go directly to the CC company and follow their procedures. I've done a couple before and it took a week or so I believe...its been a while.

As for your second question on how it will affect your paypal account, I don't know. PP can be a dick themselves over certain things.

Hope someone who has done a chargeback for a PP purchase can let you know their experience on that.

Yea can anyone share their experiences? I could do a dispute, but it takes a lot more time / effort, and don't even wanna deal with this guy (he flat out just ignores me when I try to talk to him now).

    Thanks

Bump, anyone? Still have $100 to get back...it's not much, but I don't like people taking my money...
