Guys, need some of your views about a topic:

If I am submitting an article in wikipedia & posting my link in that article.
1.Will I get any benefit from it
    2. Will it effect my search ranking
    3. Will my google authority gain some points from it.
    4. Will my website will get solid backlink from it

Yes. You will get "authority" benefit. This may not help you in the SERPs for your keywords directly, but definitely sends out a strong authority signal to Google.

What you need to be careful about is that the link you put in must add value to the article. Else it will be removed soon enough.

    1. No ranking benefit but you will get some traffic from it.
    2. No, it won't.
    3. No, because they are no follow links.
    4. Solid yes, useful no (in terms of ranking higher).

It will increase the authority for your site obviously, as WIKI has high authority and PR. It's a best way to boom the your website with traffic.
