Alright, the threads' name should speak for itself.
Letz face the truth: there a quite a few sitebuilders out there. Some cost money, some are expensive, some are free, but all of them say that their the easiest, most practical and best to use. How the hell would I know which ones the best?
I mean if I try to look for opinions through google, Im sure to get typical reviews of softwares with which the reviewer is affiliated, and not neccessarily really find out what the best site-builder really is. The way I see it here, most of the users are webmasters, so let me as your guys' opinions. Which software are ya using and which ones are the best?
Btw, Im still completely new to webmastery, and the only websites Ive made so far were 2 squeeze pages where I practically only had to copy and paste a pre-provided html code into a notepad file and upload that with my FTP.
My question: into a good sitebuilder, can I add a prewritten html code (like if I go to the source page of a website and copy that script) and then further edit that page as I would want to? And do I always need to manually upload pages to FTP, or can a good sitebuilder software do that automatically for me if id want it to? And if we came this far, let me also ask: I currently use the free software --> smartFTP Client, but is that good enough, or would it be better to use a "has a price" ftp software? What would the "not free" ftp software be able to do that the free one could not? (why would it be better, if it is better?).
Hope I didnt try to ask for too much all of a sudden.
