I read something while surfing around that indicated that G-snoogle decodes QR codes it finds when crawling. This got me to wondering if they decode it and find a link if it counts as a backlink? I'm not sure how a QR code is "shared" once it is generated, is it just an image file that the G-snoogle images crawler then interprets?

If it is just an image, can you image spam them to generate backlinks?

I'd be interested to see your source for this.

G probably can decode the QR codes but I would be surprised if it counts it as a backlink.
