    Usually takes me 2 - 3 days.

Also, since this is a PayPal thread already... If I receive the payment from PP and withdraw to my bank, is there any way the buyer can still do a chargeback? This has never happened to be but I am curious.

It says I have to link my account. What in the hell? Can't I just wire some damn money somewhere, wherever it may be? What is with PP?

    3-5 days for me usually.

And yes, the buyer can still do a chargeback. It's through the credit card company so your PP balance isn't even a factor when they try to request one.

Yeah, you need to confirm your bank account... which will take a few days. PayPal can be a pain sometimes... but they wont touch your bank account once you give them the info, no worries there.

OK, sounds like 3-5 I guess. Is there a way to do this faster at all does anyone know? How long does a check take. They want me to link my account to a bank and I don't want to.

"It's my money and I want it NOW!" LOL (without all this other stuff of linking banks or getting their card or whatever)

So yeah, it is going to take two to three days for them to ad like a few cents to my bank, so I can confirm my account and then 2-3 to transfer funds?
So would it be better to send a check?

According to them it could take 1-2 weeks to receive your check but Ive never went that route. And for me its always been about 3 or 4 business days to get it to my bank.
    Weekends don't count.
I submitted my bank info and the deposits where there the very next day.....might have gotten lucky.
Funny thing is they can deposit 23 cents in my account the next day but cant get my withdrawl to me in less than 3 days.

Just wanted to add that you should link to your bank cause after 60 days you can apply for a debit card and use it at any atm or the beer store or whatever.

Yes they can still do a charge back even if its not with their CC company. I've had it happen with an ebay auction... I sold the item.. shipped the item.. (tracking included) the person sent it back with tracking and paypal refunded their money despite the fact that I had emptied the account...and my account showed a negative balance... the account was effectively frozen till i paid up

As for how long my transfers take I've had it take as little as 30 hours and as much as 4 days it just depends on
    1. the bank..
    2. the time of day you do it ie. before noon on Monday will include Monday in your time line.
    3. How busy they are with transfers... if half their accounts transferred on Monday you might as well not hold your breath till like Thursday or Friday

just my experience from using paypal - I am states side too

You could always apply for the paypal debit card, though I wouldn't recommended that. But I live in US, and it's always taken 2 days exactly to get my money.

I'm against keeping any funds in paypal anymore. They limit people's accounts for no reason and ban you (can't receive funds from your pp for 6 months). This happened to me. I started a new paypal and money is in it for less than 1 minute.
