So I want to know your opinions on putting affiliate links or ads in your site while it's ranking and you're doing SEO..

Do you find that Google will often rank your site worse if you put affiliate links and ads in it to begin with?

Do you like to have a completely 'clean' site and then once it's ranked well slip in the aff links and the PPC ads?

I would just put the ads on from the beginning. Say you use Adsense. Why would Google penalize your site for using Adsense when they make a cut of the money?

In practice, I have not noticed any relation between using ads on new sites and how difficult they are to rank. Might as well squeeze all the money you can out of the site.

I put adsense on my sites from the very beginning before any backlinking has begun, they rank fine and i haven't had any issues with it.
