I have a client who has about 2doz (nearly EMD) domains that have been 301'd to his ms for about a year. The domains are spread around 4 c-classes. In this case, I'm wondering if you'd:

    1. Just build links to the 301's for the link juice
    2. Take a few that don't share the same c-class as the MS and make them into blogs
    3. Remove the 301's because it is an obvious footprint
    4. ???
Some of the domains are merely other tld's for his MS, and I can understand why it makes sense to redirect these...but redirecting a ton of LSI-based domains on top of that might look dodgy.

    Scratching my head here...

I have seen a person in my niche who simply has around 10-12 domains EX: closehealthtips.com, goodhealthtips.com , greathelptips.com [just an example of what type of domains he has].

What he does is he simply throws some profile links [ kind of GSA stuff ] and some more old school seo links and then redirects those domains to his money site. All of those domains show up around 70-100 ref domains in MajesticSEO and he is ranking strong for his keyword even after the recent updates.

I wonder how that works. It might be risky. But still you can remove the redirect if something goes wrong.
