    Just found this site today and have done my best to absorb as much as I could the last 10 hours. I started at the "I made X,XXX a month and YOU CAN TOO" threads and progressed to the more realistic, knowledge-laden posts. I've always been unable to bring myself to fall into the 9-5 grind, although I respect those that do. I made decent profit off eBay without wholesalers/dropshipping, but seeing the "fees" pile up(amongst other things) are making me look elsewhere. The entire IM thing I stumbled upon a month or two ago. It seemed legit, however I don't know much about the process. Trying to research it further led me to an endless loop of videos pushing systems, websites owned by others doing actual IM et cetera.

    On to my main question(s):

    I have had one idea for an eBook in the back of my head for quite a while. It was something close to me that I and many others struggled with trying to find solutions but with little real answers. I was able to piece together a fix for the problem but it took months of research and bouncing around. I have never made a dime off such things and as I said, today is my first day reading from others on the topic who seem to actually possess good information if you can weed out the bullshit. This seems like a solid foundation for an eBook. I have no product to push from this and have ZERO idea how to approach such a thing from the ground up. I have solid writing ability and will author the book myself. From that point... a lot of questions without answers. I have a lot to learn. Essentially I found a fix for a common issue that I believe, if compiled in one guide, could appeal to a large niche market.

    My questions range from the security of an eBook, to the marketing and sales of the book itself. I want to do this properly and am starting from the ground up. I am not looking for massive profits. I am just confident in the knowledge I have and believe if implemented correctly, would yield decent money that I can funnel into future projects. The concepts here have really sparked my interest. I'm here to soak up knowledge. Any input is appreciated. Thread links, personal opinions, advice, negativity.. anything is something. Great place!

    Try looking into Clickbank for selling your book, sounds like it could be just what you're looking for.

    yeah, clickbank is good shit.

    this'll get you started with setting up a sales page:
    http://www.clickbank.com/help/vendor-help/vendor-basics/get-started-as-a-vendor/

    after that, you'll need to drive a ton of traffic to your sales page, and also recruit a ton of affiliates to help sell your ebook.

    get traffic:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/6828-all-about-traffic.html

    get affiliates:
    http://www.clickbank.com/help/vendor-help/vendor-guides/attract-more-affiliates/

    if you do all of that, you'll make some nice cash :)

    Is this actually the preferred method? My eBook would deal with something completely untapped. A fix to a problem a lot of people have. My main concern is protecting these methods as best I can(I know this isn't completely viable). I have zero experience pushing an eBook.
