[TD]Hello! I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I've been doing internet marketing for about 3 years now and have seen success way too quickly. I was ranking videos on google about a year and a half ago, and banked hard. Thousands per day. Became lazy, spent most of it. Its time for a change.

In the past, i've had success in affiliate marketing, CPA, and building my own reselling business thanks to Youtube. Yt was my bread and butter until they started cracking down.

I have about 10 lucrative ideas, but instead of overwhelming myself, I'm going to focus on one idea at a time. Once I achieve success, move on.

I have also lurked a long time but I am in it for the long haul now good some long terms sitting at bay but scaling up hard as we speak
 
I got a few PM's about steps in my first few steps. My goal with this journey is to help and motivate people (but also to keep me accountable). In this long post, I'll be talking through the first few steps I've done thus far.


Choosing a Niche
I decided to go into a niche that I have moderate interest in. For the time being, I'll be the one writing all the content so I want to make sure I don't bore myself to death when writing 50+ articles around the same topic. If its a super saturated niche, that's a good thing. It means there is money to be made.


Keyword Research
I personally use longtail pro to get a general idea of how difficult it will be to rank for certain keywords. for now I'll be sticking to the lower, long tail keywords until I get some general authority within the niche. I've broken my keywords down into 2 sub sections.
  1. Money Keywords (keywords I'm going to focus on making money with)
  2. Traffic Keywords (keywords that I want to drive traffic with (usually lower competition))

I have a total of 40 keywords; 20 money keywords, 40 Traffic keywords

If you're looking to find keywords, you can always use keywordshitter. This is a great starting point to help find some longtails. throw your list from Keywordshitter into google kw planner, and see what hidden gems you can execute on.


Content
I'll be writing my content out personally. I'll be focusing on writing about exactly what the reader is looking for. I'm looking to provide short term, immediate value to my readers, and then bait them on continuing to read (and inevitably join my email list). I'll dig into more detail as time goes on.

SEO
I'm not the best SEO by any means. I've been out of the seo game for a while, and I'm ready to dive back in 100%. My goal is to backlink randomly, and use only authoritative, niche-relevant sites with 100% original content.

In order to have a social presence, I've adapted IFTTT to syndicate my wordpress posts on a few social platforms and a few social bookmarking sites.

I'll be building 10 high quality parasite pages for my homepage/inner pages this weekend. Some Parasites I'll continue to add content, some I'll stop and simply blast with GSA, ect. I'm trying to be random. I personally feel like random is key.

I'll be focusing on content rather than backlinks. I'm going to try and push social shares on most of my posts.

Summarizing My Thoughts
Overall, I'm looking to use every possible channel to get targeted people on my mailing list instead of directing them to a cpa/clickbank offer.
I'm currently trying to use SEO, YT, and now Twitter. For Tw, I'll be trying the traditional follow/unfollow method.
 
I suck at organization. I look at all the tasks and I overwhelm myself. In order to cope with this problem of mine, I'm going to start categorizing my tasks in the form of lists. I'll be setting up a daily "to-do list" to ensure that I am making forward progress everyday.

Summarizing My thoughts
I'm not getting enough done fast enough. I need to put in more time and effort into this site. I'd like to start seeing traffic and email opt-ins by the end of this week.

As stated before, my whole goal is to become an authority in this micro-niche. I want to utilize all sources of traffic and get them on my opt-list. This is the format in my mind:

  1. Build out the authority site (but then host my site on dcma ignored hosting due to the nature of the niche)
  2. focus on parasites for the traffic
If the niche itself wasn't so blackhat, I would love to utilize both parasites and build out the authority site. I feel like if i focus on the authority site, I might end up wasting my time.

Once I have them on my list, I can email them about more offers or products.

Update After some Time


What I've Been Up To:

1. Managed to leverage youtube videos to get 77 people on my email list
2. Tried to get them to convert on a cpa offer (HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Conversion Rate)
3. I have a twitter account around the niche and I'm slowly following/unfollowing.

I have them on my email list, and i have absolutely NO idea how to get them to convert on CPA offers or products around my niche. I've honestly had much more success (in terms of Conversion Rate) direct linking to a cb product or a cpa offer.

Any Advice with leveraging my email list to getting more sales?

Keep pumping and scaling, if you're making any money with your list, you can make 10x more with a 10x bigger list...

Thanks so much for your input. Heres the issue I have. They say you should try and pull $1 per subscriber per month. So theoretically i should be getting $77 per month. I'm not sure how to do this quite yet, seeing as I was only able to pull in like $3 bucks.
 
You still pulled money, see where you went wrong and where you went right, use in another test, get more emails, buy them, steal them, scrape them
 
Update:

I've taken a few days off to re-evaluate what my next few steps are. Originally I wanted to create a Website and monetize with CPA. That turned out to be a pretty piss-poor idea. Instead, I'm going to be focusing on 3 new mini projects.


The Authority Site
Build a site around a few sub-niches, and monetize with clickbank/amazon products.

I've set up the site, about me, contact us, and first 1,200 word article. My goal is to pick out 100 keywords around the sub-niche and overload the site with content. Hopefully I can do 3-5 articles a day.

The Authority Youtube Channel
In order to help drive traffic, I'll be creating and uploading daily videos to this channel. My hope is to become an authority channel on youtube and help drive targeted daily traffic to the website

Blackhat Mass Video Uploads
I originally found my success a year ago with youtube. I will be uploading videos daily to youtube (with a "set and forget" mentality). My goal is to pull in traffic and test the waters in certain niches. I'll be using CPAGrip to content lock.


I still have a million ideas each and every day as to what I want to do, but If i stick to these 3 projects, I should learn some very very valuable skills. The specific goals I'm looking to achieve are :

  • ​How to rank a website on google?
  • How to rank a video on youtube?

I'm going to be working on 4 specific projects. and Making Progress On Each One Every Day.

Authority Site
Going to be monetized with clickbank products. Choose evergreen niche, write product reviews, articles similar to the product. Focus is content. content overload. I need to add as much content as possible.

Authority Youtube Channel
Similar to the authority site, I'll be choosing an evergreen clickbank niche, and creating information-based youtube videos with the clickbank product promoted at the end of the video.

Fiverr
Why not get some spare change in my back pocket? I'll be focusing on gig add-ons to make decent money.

Youtube+CPA
I'd like to give CPA another attempt. I'll be creating mass videos that are 6/10 quality. I hope to do 5 Videos Per Day.



I'll dive way deeper into each method as I progress, but as a way to keep me accountable, I will be reporting back daily here. This is going to be a lot of work, but I'm ready to achieve Success.

My goal moving forward: $50/Day

I figure fiverr can be a great way to make some side money. Today I did some "gig research" figured out what services I'd like to offer.
I created an account and have created a list of 5 gigs I'd like to create.

Earned $8 From 2 Orders!

Authority Site
I'm Siloing my website. I'd like to make some money with clickbank with this website while learning the ropes of SEO. I'll be targeting niche-specific keywords and maybe some clickbank product reviews.

Authority Youtube Channel
I'm going through and targeting "low hanging fruit" youtube kw and creating informational videos with a "sponsor" at the end. I havent decided if i want to direct link to the cb product or if i want to funnel the traffic to my authority site if they are both on the same subject. Advice?

Youtube + CPA
I have settled on a niche that I think will temporarily generate some revenue :) Tomorrow I'll upload 4 Videos

You kind of lost me with the whole Fiverr thing. I'm all about leveraging, but $5 a pop? Nah..but I get it, trying to bring in some kind of return?

As for the fiverr thing, Its the fastest way to getting some money in my pocket.
i'm going to create a few gigs and hope for a few extra bucks per day.

Later on, I'll create a bunch of fiverr "gig extras" if things run smoothly. No one on fiverr makes a full time income at $4 per order. The successful guys on fiverr make the big bucks on the gig extras.
 
Interesting journey , i think that your ideas are good , just keep that course . If i can ask do you use some tool for twitter follow unfollow strategy?
