So when you get a domain and you analyze the backlinks to this domain should you concentrate more on the URL metrics of the backlink or the metrics from the domain the backlink is coming from? I know when you check the backlinks in majestic it gives you the URL TF and CF and then it gives you the domain TF and CF?

I agree with drogon in checking both page and domain metrics is the best way - If you want to dig deeper to make sure it's a good domain you would be best not just checking TF and CF but also checking DA and PA.

You check backlinks using knowledge. If you need tools to tell if a link is good or bad, this means that you dont know what are you doing

I'm more interested in checking the score of the Domain. Also, I consider the ratio for TF/CF. CF should not be higher than TF and then verify the domain's backlink profile.

In fact, you should not be interested in the metrics at all. Look at the authority of the linking site. And you can easily estimate the authority yourself.
