    Quick question -

I've been keeping an eye on many liquidation sites that sell new/used cell phones in wholesale.

Many of these lots go for thousands of dollars, and each phone ends up costing around $250+

Which doesn't make sense, because an iPhone 6 16GB sold on eBay as "Like New" goes for like $320 carrier locked, and after fees and shipping you'd be breaking even

I know many of the people that are bidding, send these overseas to other countries where iPhones are worth a lot more, but how do they avoid paying customs/import tax which is like 25% of the item value?

Margins are particularly thin on these items. - My tip - keep an eye on ebay for broken/smashed phones. Most can be repaired quickly, cheaply and easily using easily sourced parts - and simple to follow youtube videos. Yes the volume isnt the same, but there isnt the risk of the big outlay and theres cash to be made
