Punished by google

Hi

My main domain is on page 3 to page 35 for my main keywords, but the aboutus.html for that page are on #7 place on the first page.

When I started SEO i did some on aboutus.html and the rest direct to the domain. And the for the last year I've been doing seo to the main keywords homepage and I have bought links for about $5000.

But with no restults. The aboutus.html have been on #2 to #7 spot the hole time and now after a lot of article writing, my main domain is going further away from google.

So what do i do? Do i continue to linkbuilding, sosial bookmarking and article writing, or should I concentrate on one of the things?

My site is a wordpress site so the aboutus is not a better onsite seo site.

Where are your main pages in the results. When I have been penalized in the past my pages remained in the results but were always on the very last page. If this is the case the only thing you can do is wait, I would recommend taking a break from that site and concentrate on another project.

$5,000 for backlinks? Did you spend that in such a way that you had variations with anchor text. Did you target many inner pages. If you spent $5,000 to send backlinks to a single page, your homepage, with very little anchor text variation, Google will penalize you.

From now on, spread backlinks to every inner page on your site. Try to monetize your about us page by directing customers to whatever you sell or offer. Play it safe and don't do direct SEO work on your about us page. Since Google seems to like that page already, just allow it to move up with the link juice that is provided by the inner pages that you will target from now on (Assuming that every page in your site is linked to the aboutus page)

It seems that your site got penalty.. I also faced such situation with my site but now I have recovered it completely..

I've changed host and added more unique content and are concentration on high pr deep linking..

What else can i do?

This mistake make all the people who think the backlinks are everything to SEO. Google is not stupid if it was it will not be such BIG like is today. There are 200 things that make a site or a webpage to be on the first page or on the first page on 1st position. I make SEO from 2005 and all my project sites reach first page or first position in function that how much the client want to spent. So I tell for sure that the backlinks is just a part.
So try to look at more details on your page and see where is your problem.

Google loves you!

Don't remove any content from your aboutus page but slowly add a ton of relevant content about your keyword to that aboutus page. Make that aboutus page exactly what the searcher is looking for and monetize it. Then send it some links. Google thinks that is what should be ranking. Google is your master; do what it tells you to.

Forget about your homepage! Who cares that it is not ranking? You are still ranking. What a waste of a year trying to tell Google to rank the homepage when you were already on the first page.

take help of an seo expert.ask him to go through the code once...

$5,000 you say. Wow. You need to diversify. You need less crappy links and more quality links. And you need to be connected to authority sites. Some of linking has to be done by hand and done correctly. There are no shortcuts with some of this. Some linking has to be done manually and professionally. Content and keywords have to be spun. Actual real unique content and comments have to be added in order to acquire high PR d***follow links. And you need to know how and where to channel any juice from these links. Having said this, do not get hung up on the do***ollow hype. Deep linking is also important. Get someone to help who knows what the hell they are doing! It really pisses me off when I see posts like this. I am sorry you did not get good help with your SEO.

your link juice distribution may be not correct you can control this from internal links structure. You should make home page as the priority page from the internal links.
