I just public a video, the title is good, the tags are goods, I also buy some HR views before public, and after public, it hasn't increased a single view after a day. What did I do wrong? This is so weird now.

There is a tonne of other optimization you didn't do, just to name a few:

    You didn't optimize your description
You didn't add in a custom, accurate transcript
    Your video is probably shit

You haven't mentioned anything about where your video ended up ranking.

I'm having the same exact issue right now. Although I don't really enter a description in my videos, I insert several closely related tags and I still don't get much luck. Have you ever made thumbnails before?

    - Yes I didn't optimize description
    - What is a custom, accurate transcript?
    - Video content good or not is base on HR views right? If the view is not increase even 1 view, how to judge that video is shit?

And this channel is new with 0 subs

Are you targeting a keyword that gets a decent amount of searches?

Also, how long have you been waiting?

Usually takes me about 3 months to hit #1 and that is when I find the views start rolling in

    Are you fucking kidding me.

I don't understand. Why would people come here and be like "I have a problem" "I'm not ranking" "why isn't this working" when its so obvious it is smacking you in the face.

One here didn't write an optimized description.
Another here didn't even write a video description.

If content is important for Google's search engine, do you not think it isn't important for YouTube's?

What is a transcript? What? Have you done any research into YouTube at all?

Did you even Google the problem? Did you look and find a simple YouTube SEO checklist? Did you even try to find it, before you came here?

A little bit of initiative and common sense would go a long way.

As-per content, if your content is shit it does bloody matter and it makes common sense why it does matter.

    1) People can tell crappy content apart and won't click on it, making your CTR abysmal, which will tank you. You might've already been tested by YouTube and your CTR was shit and YouTube is smart enough to figure it out after displaying your thumbnail to just a few users how well its going to perform and tanks you very fast.

    2) YouTube can tell if your video has no one talking in it and it's algorithm favours words. So if you've got something like slides to music, then no, YouTube hates that shit.

    3) YouTube hates short videos and favours long ones, and crappy videos with no content tend to be less than 4 minutes long. My bet is yours are more like 2 minutes or less.

Create a good video, pick a keyword, and do proper on-page optimization and then see if you get views or not.

Okay. What I meant is that I include a description for most of my videos, but it's only a few sentences. There have been a lot of times where I uploaded 10-minute videos of weird situations, unreleased songs, and even compilations, but I can still be unsuccessful. The only successful ones were mostly the mixtapes I uploaded. The other content either failed to generate a lot of views, were removed, or caused some my channels to die. For example, I uploaded some 10-minute fight compilation videos and I got accused of spamming. Therefore, YouTube gave that channel the banhammer. It really sucks.

You are full of sh*t mate. All three of your points are not even the slightest bit true.

YouTube does not test video's CTR on a small minority.
YouTube does not have an algorithm for knowing if the whether a video has a narrative or not.
YouTube does not have an algorithm that favours longer videos.

there are many factors in youtube ranking, since this is a new video and you are not relay on channel, subs or any organic "kick starters", you can't leave this on the title and tags only, the initial traffic is important, did you checked that views are HR, how high? did you boost it at the beginning? for how many days? what was the count like when you switched it to public?

did you checked that you are already indexed on youtube? sometimes it takes more time to youtube to sync you back to the index and get the retention data that is a must for initial ranking.

With the HR views I bought, it's 99% retention, I checked. I boosted at the beginning without public it for 1 day. And after switched to public, it didn't increase even 1 single view, how weird!

And when I search my videos on Youtube with exactly the title of my videos, I didn't see my videos, is that mean Youtube still not indexed my videos? In this case, what should I do?

You could try targeting some large FB groups and ask them to promote your channel, or other YouTubers (Similar niche though). 0 Subs is hard, because you don't know what page you'll end up in the search results. Optimize your descriptions, make sure your content is ON POINT. See what your competition or the 'Big Players' in your niche are doing, and compare it to your methods. Look at the people doing it right for your keywords and see what you missed. Also, patience, it'll happen :) Cheers

This is just blatantly false and anyone doing YouTube SEO marketing knows this. But you are welcome to your opinion.

    try this,

    1. search youtube for the video ID (not the full link just the ID ... watch?v={video ID} ) see if it return the video in the SERP
    2. in any case i recommend to do some editing in the video manager (change thumbnail, add tags, add something to the description) and save.
    3. after a few hours you should see it in the index, if no success there is a chance that the channel is flagged silently, then you should consider to spin/reupload on a new channel.

Sure, you are welcome to believe that. I am going to keep making bank off of the fact that the algorithm does do this, and I can manipulate it to rank my videos and earn me a lot of money. I read your post history. I see you want to make 17k in quid this year off of youtube. I am earning well beyond that and am ranking for some of YouTubes most competitive keywords. I am throwing my advice out there freely, take it or leave it.
