    This post is supposed to be used in conjunction with my previous post (below) so read that and come back to this one.
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...edit-cards-holidays-location-loans-e-t-c.html

    If you're looking for quick one hit button magic software than will rank you within 12 minutes then look away now and go back on the pile of "Dan, my websites got a penalty" pile and I'll deal with you later ;)

    This post is a snippet of some of the things I do on a daily basis with small and slightly larger sites that have a monthly turnover of 600k+ so you should be able to take some of it away with you.

    Main object of this post?

    Getting quick links on a nice scale within a short period of time, you want to rank right?

    Stage One;

    Guest posts on scale, quick wins and easy pickings;

    Communities

    Most of you know that I deal with large scale clients in the day job and I need to stick to timescale and I can't be sitting around picking through Google so at the start of the month I use these sites;

    http://www.bloggerlinkup.com/ - Easy pickings but you will get a lot of shitty link sellers, out of about 50 emails I'll get about 10 people asking me for a guest post and most of them have decent domain authority and pagerank.

    http://myblogguest.com/ - My favourite to be honest, it's got a half decent forum and you can set up RSS feeds on your niche so it's pretty much automated. I use RSSowl which is a free bit of software for, well, RSSfeeds. Boot it up and watch the pop ups and take your pick.

    http://www.blogdash.com/ - This has some highend sites and it is paid but its cheap, one thing though is you need to have a VERY good pitch else you will have no success, this is really used my branded websites so if you have a one page adsense website then you won't have much chance on getting results on this site.

    http://www.guestblogit.com/ - Had a few quick wins, nothing major but rule of thumb is this......Never take your finger off the pulse, ever, no site is too small and no site is out of reach.

    http://guestr.com/ This is site BHW member Dennis uses, I haven't used it in quite sometime so Ill have to you leave you on your own for this one

    Twitter

    Easily the site with the highest conversion rate when looking for guest posts

    I use Tweetdeck in the chrome browser and then the software so I can watch a ton updates in different niches at the same time.

    Use footprints like (think of Google)

    https://twitter.com/#!/search/guest post
    https://twitter.com/#!/search/guest article
    https://twitter.com/#!/search/guest post needed

    But add in your own keywords and filter it down, always reply from a decent twitter account else you will get ignored.
    One tip for this though, if you see someone only promoting a guest post (not asking for one) send them a reply anyway say how you like it, start chatting then go in for the kill and ask for a post, most of the time they will let you have one or even better ask you for a quote, this works 60% of the time.

    Google

    I tend to avoid Google when looking for link targets because the SERPs are normally outdated and the leads are stale but it's still worth the effect but keep the outreach short and sweet.

    Let Google do the work for you by using Alerts; http://www.google.com/alerts

    Use footprints like;

    Code:
    "Add Articles"                                         "Add Content"
    "Submit Article"                                      "Submit Post"
    "Add Guest Post"                                    "Bloggers Wanted"
    "Guest Bloggers Wanted"                        "Guest Post"
    "Guest Posts Roundup" "Guest Blogging Spot"
    "Write for Us" "Submit a Guest Post"
    "Submit Guest Post" "Become a Guest Blogger"
    "Submit a Guest Article" "Guest Post Guidelines"
    "Guest Bloggers Wanted" "Submit an Article"
    "Group Writing Project" "Want to Write for"
    "Blogs that Accept Guest Posts" "Blogs that Accept Guest Blogging"
    "Blogs that Accept Guest Bloggers" "Blogs Accepting Guest Posts"
    "Become a Contributor"                             "Contribute"
    "Submit Design News"                               "Submit News"
    "Community News"                                   "Submit Tutorial"
    "Submit Blog Post" "Suggest a Post"
    "Suggest a Guest Post" "Become an Author"
    "Contribute to our Site" "Become a Contributor"
    "Become a Guest Writer" "Places I Guest Posted"
    "My Guest Posts" "Publish Your News"
    "Submission Guidelines"                              "Guest post by"
    "This guest post was written" "Guest Contributor"
    "This guest post is from" "This is a guest article"
    "Now Accepting Guest Posts"                      inurl:guest-posts
    "The following guest post"                          inurl:write-for-us
    inurl:guest-post-guidelines                        inurl:profiles/blog/new
    Make sure you add your keywords to the end, filter down to show only the best results and email as it happens

    What I do is keep a list of the best blogs and shoot them an email with a few content ideas, wait just over a week and send a reminder

    Checking Serps

    Damn this is bloody boring but it does work, and it works even quicker with these tips;
    Use the footprints as above and make sure you use your keywords so you get the right sort of sites and Google what you're looking for like;

    inurl:write-for-us KEYWORD

    (Pick the best footprints from your niche, filter the ones that you notice give the best results and shrink to 10 or so from the list above)

    To speed up finding sites I change some settings in Google here https://www.google.co.uk/preferences?hl=en and I tell Google to show me 100 results rather just ten and then I use Chrome scraper to rip out the URLs from the serp results https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mbigbapnjcgaffohmbkdlecaccepngjd

    To use the scraper simply right click on the green URL listing in Google, and select ‘scrape similar' and you will get an option to import into Google docs

    Do that for the next load of footprints that you have picked and put all the URLS into a single spreadsheet, remove duplicates and you should easily have 500 urls to choose from, sort by pagrank and job done and start chatting to site owners, out of about hundred targets I would get about 10-15 guest posts and a handful of other type of links like adverts, references blah blah

    The key to contacting site owners is to make them feel valued, ask them for a link in any way you can i.e. a reference, a banner, an image, a quote.....not just a blog post

    Please remember that this is a small amount of the offpage work I do as a consultant so use this as a guide while also doing your own link building and never put all you r eggs in one basket

    I hope that helps a couple of you guys out and I'll do a PART 3 / 4 / 5 very soon

    Dan

    Good info. I've recently started doing the 'writeforus+keyword' and have found some good guest posts though filling in request forms.

    No offence, but this is hardly dynamite information is it.

    You're just telling everyone what they already know.

    And you've highlighted areas about SEO that you don't know. You mention nothing about onsite seo. This plays a big part even in markets about loans. I know as i hold good ranks for lots of loans terms.

    wannabie,

    I have few questions. What about content? How many words article you recommend to use for posting and what quality of article should be (I dont have spun content in mind lol)? You add only 1 link? Can site owners just remove my link from post and keep article? Sorry for noobish questions, but I never tried guest posting before.
