I don't have a moral opinion on them, I don't take them just because I'm a health conscious kind of fellow and these are too much of an unknown. In a way I like the idea of them expanding your mind in ways you might not if sitting in the usual world...on the other hand I think you CAN probably expand your mind just as you are/better without taking the short cut of PDs and taking a trip, by applying a bit of unrestrained thought and purposefully opening your mind to new ideas without any biases until it's a natural way of thinking for you. You don't take a trip, but I'm not after the trip, only a philosophical exploratory journey of reality and whats beyond it. To that end, I can't believe the lack of a trip (which I'm sure is very eye-opening) can't be compensated for. That's how I've always done it anyway, and I'm not part of the "groovy" crowd. Maybe I'm missing out completely, but the people I speak to who do take psychedelics don't actually strike as precisely 'open minded' per se, but rather, have very different uniform outlooks from Joe Banker. Being different to the norm might look similar to open minded but it's not quite the same thing. They're good at art though, that's for sure. Whether that's a chicken or egg situation I don't know, but a lot of them do tend to be artists. I won't be taking them either way. Thoughts?
