I recently got a DMCA request email on a whoisguard protected domain, with my full name and address as it appears on my Namecheap account, on an email address I only use at Namecheap.

When I contacted Namecheap about it, they denied giving away my name/address.

So I thought it must have been a rogue intern or something, and thought I'd wait and see if it happens again.

A couple of weeks later, it happened again. So I guess it's now their policy to give away your name/address to pretty much anyone that asks and lie about it.

Note that the Name/Address is from my Namecheap Account, I use a PO box address on the actual domain contact details.

Now I'm looking to transfer all my domains off Namecheap, can anyone reccomend a registrar with privacy protection that doesn't give away your info to anybody that asks?

Try uniregistry.com I saw their banner ads on BHW and registered an account there. There is free two tier privacy protection over there.
