I talked to someone outside of BHW who was pretty knowledgeable about Tumblr. He said he doesn't use PRTB because he thought too many of his accounts got banned on it. Is this even legitimate? Is there any way Tumblr can tell PRTB from a browser login if you use a user agent? I lost 5 more blogs today, right after I manually logged in to adjust some settings and do some human activity, I was careful, didn't cross proxies, cache, or cookies. I'm just not sure why. These blogs were as safe as it gets too, one was just pictures of earth, under 30 in queue at a time, less than that posted per day. All the touches I normally put on as far as making the accounts look human as well...

One thing for sure, tumblr is way too strict after yahoo take over, so you gotta be extra careful.

    LOL.... don't believe that crap.
So if PRTB is the issue, then tell him to explain why all the other scenarios happen with not only ALL of the other bots as well, but likewise with accounts created without bots and proxies?

The 'explanation' everyone is looking for is not as simple as everyone thinks ( but man do I wish someone would PROVE me wrong :p...)

There are a number of factors.

I've heard and read about 100% legit people providing fresh and awesome written content to their TUMBLR blogs and still - some of them have lost it and couldn't get them back. Why? Affiliate, automation and various other reasons stated to them by the Tumblr support - e.g. pure boloney!

Don't act like a bot when using a bot - don't do everything very systematic and repeatedly and you'll be "fine".
