Spoiler: Can you show me a sample report?

Yes and no. Yes, I can show you a screenshot of a report with client data removed. You will receive a full report once I work with you and your press release is completed. I want you to have an idea of the type of report you can expect to receive. This is fine and not an issue at all. Simply request a sample of a report in the thread, and I'll send it over via PM.

Now remember, I also said no. I said this because just as I tell my other clients, I'll tell you the same. I respect the privacy of ALL my clients. A press release may contain personal information such as email addresses, phone numbers, physical business addresses (and some people work from home), etc, that you, as a business owner or a representative of a business, would not appreciate having such delicate information being handed out to random people as samples. The objective is to target your niche audience with this information and not just random people on the internet, and especially random people on the internet who also happen to be on an internet marketing forum.

Spoiler: Are there any review copies available?

We will announce any review copies that we decide to offer.

Spoiler: What is the difference between PRsubmit and other competitors?

To begin, PRsubmit distributes press releases using three mechanisms:
1.) PR submissions directly to subscribing journalists.
2.) Posting on websites, thus making them available to search engines and social media.
3.) Distribution on a major newswire of press releases, which is by far the most important of the three.

Sometimes people may feel like their business and / or their press release is not all that newsworthy, so they begin to believe that it's not worth investing money into using a major newswire. We understand. That is why we have a team of great writers who love their craft and will do what it takes to create a compelling story about your brand. With PRsubmit, you don't need to invest that much money to leverage the power of a proper press release distribution. In addition, what you may not realize is that almost every trade publication, and virtually every industry blogger, is going to cover their markets by using and reviewing major newswires. Even if you believe you are only going to get picked up within your own industry, and such a pickup is vital coverage, then having your press release issued over a significant newswire becomes even more important, because that's where people will pick you up whether it's breaking news, or simply an update about your services or product. This is what we do for you and that's what makes us different Quality, affordability, brand authority, and ease of use.

Spoiler: Can I schedule a specific time for my press release to be distributed?

Unfortunately, no. You are not able to select a specific time for distribution. Press releases are normally scheduled before 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (on weekdays) in aggregate (but no specific publishing time can be provided, as we do not control these outlets).

Our low price is based on the standardized treatment of press releases. Because there are lots of moving parts, any attempts at trying to force journalists to publish at specific times, can create many opportunities for mistakes and poor relationships.

Spoiler: Is your press release distribution global?

Our distribution is focused primarily on the United States. We distribute the press releases via newswire and also to our media contacts in the United States.

Spoiler: How can I find where my press release was accepted?

We will provide you with your PRsubmit Press Release Report shortly after distribution and acceptance, providing you with as many as 350 or more links to where you can view your press release content live on the internet.

Spoiler: I'm just a small business or a website run by one person. Can one of your PRsubmit Press Release Distributions actually help for a small business like mine?

Yes. The Internet has seen its largest growth among small and mid-sized companies. This medium has helped to level (or at least leverage) the playing field of huge overhead expenses, large contracts, and even larger advertising budgets.

As a result, many small companies have seen their businesses flourish on the web. Sometimes this happens when a company is profiled in a trade journal or appears on a major publication's business section or similar. As long as your goals are realistic, press releases are a valuable opportunity.

If you don’t succeed on your first release, remember that one press release is only one part of an ongoing media campaign. Stick with it. Each subsequent press release (crafted for its newsworthiness) will only help your company or organization gain credibility with editors and writers, who may eventually give you that mention you’ve been looking for.

Spoiler: Do you think a major newspaper or broadcaster will do a story on me after my first press release?

While extremely unlikely, it is not impossible. Every day, we see newspapers and both major and minor online news and media outlets, pick an obscure company to mention in an article. Many of these companies are plucked out of obscurity because they’ve issued at least one or more press releases and appeared on a particular journalist’s radar. In those cases, it’s often more a case of luck in which a press release appeared at a time when a journalist was looking for a person, product, service, or company to incorporate into a story. The key is that it does happen.

One thing you may notice is that in most cases, it’s not their first press release that generated success. In many cases it might be their second, third or sixth press release that catapulted them out of obscurity. In most cases, their press releases are NOT breaking news. These are people who are issuing the same type of news that you probably have around you, and they are doing the same types of business activities that you are doing, which could be incorporated into a press release and get you in front of the media.

These are the media opportunities that are possible for our customers to gain, but if you are not, then it just may be because you are not issuing press releases to the media.

Spoiler: My first press release did not meet my expectations. Why should I continue with a second or third?

If your goal is to get PR for your company, and to look at press releases as a way to market your company, you simply cannot judge a PR campaign on one or two press releases. No PR firm is going to sign a contract and issue one or two press releases, because they know that is not a PR campaign. A PR campaign is a series of press releases to the media in which you use different approaches, different hooks, to engage the media. Doing this, you substantially increase your odds of success.

If you were to dedicate yourself to between six and ten well-written press releases and with an assortment of hooks and angles for your company, you will have a much greater chance at receiving media coverage, and that media coverage can have the potential to exceed your press release investment costs by a factor of ten or more.

Spoiler: What do you guarantee?

We guarantee that if your press release is accepted by our journalists, then your press release will be distributed.

Acceptance depends on several variables, including newsworthiness, your actual press release (the attention-grabbing hook), timing, and a bit of luck.

Because media members themselves are the arbiters of what is considered newsworthy for their readership, PRsubmit cannot guarantee media coverage. Remember that even the PR agencies commanding upwards of $15,000 monthly retainers, are unable to guarantee media placement.

That being said, we do guarantee that if you provide us with all the pertinent information we request during the time of your purchase and the onboarding process, and we are somehow unable to get your press release accepted and have it distributed, we will have two options for you, as outlined in our Refund Policy, below.

Spoiler: What is your refund policy?

Due to the nature of this business, once we have started the order, we will be unable to provide a refund unless the press release gets rejected by the journalists. If the press release is rejected, we have two options:
Option A: We can attempt a different approach.
Option B: We can refund your money.

***Please note that if the criteria above is met and we provide you a refund, we will still need to cover the costs of our expenses up until this point. As a general rule of thumb, your refund will be a total of 75% of what you paid, however, one major benefit is that you will be able to keep the content and use it however you'd like. This is content that you have already pre-approved, so you already know that it's good. Use it as a blog post, an article on your website, a forum post, spin it and use it for search engine optimization, or however you decide. It's yours.***

Background:
I was below the "threshold" of what qualified me for a review, but I reached out to @Toz and explained that I'm an active member of this community who could provide an intelligent non-biased review. He approved me and provided me a review copy, in which I paid 50% of his list price. The thread forwarded me to his own website, where I paid and checked out. I was supposed go get an automatic email, but there was some sort of technical difficulty, and I never received it. So I reached out to him in a personal message and he sent me the follow up email.

That was the only hiccup of the whole process. And it wasn't a big deal. The whole process was quick, smooth, and pleasant.

Pros:

• The writing is fantastic. He actually noticed a grammatical error in the quote I provided, and worked with me to remedy it ahead of time. I've worked with many services who just copy and paste my info no matter what's in it, so it was nice to see that he took his time and proof read the content that I provided.
• Communication was top notch. Toz emailed me multiple times letting me know that milestones had been met in the process. For example he let me know when the press release was accepted, when it was published, when I would receive the report, etc.
• Report was well organized, very professional, and easy to follow. It comes in the form of an html page that has clickable links to each link. So its easy to see the source, and spot check. It also had a link to see what had indexed on Google and what links showed up on Google News.

Cons

• The sites are your typical BHW press release sources: local radio/tv news sites and small national sources I've never heard of for the most part. There weren't any that really impressed me too much.
• Only 2 indexed in Google News

Overall
I like this service a lot at the price I paid for it (50% off). I wouldn't like it as much at its full price. In terms of SEO quality, I don't see anything that makes it better than the other press release services on BHW. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck, in pure SEO value, this may not be the best press release gig for you. But if you value customer service and writing quality, then there is true value to this gig and the price is justifiable. I'll probably continue to use this service for some of my client's sites just because of how painless the process was, and because I get a report that I feel comfortable turning straight over to the client.
