Ok so we all know PRStorm and have mixed success, but you're really missing a gold mine of high PR links and traffic because you're thinking inside the box and only using it for what it was intended.
Ok so first things first, copy the contents of that great big urls list, yes the default one.
Ok, and stay with me here...paste it into the refers.txt.
Uhuh yes outside the box.
Right clear the urls box and load up a decent browser ie firefox with the pagerank extension.
If you don't have that then by GOD what are you doing here go get it!!! Mush!
Right find yourself a few sites with top 100 lists, they should be of a high PR 4/5 on the top 50 or so.
The ones you're looking for normally have a links in links out counter.
Now some sites just list a link back to sites that send the most traffic (catching on yet?) and you could use PRstorm in the normal way to spam that site with traffic from your referer. I-am-bored used to do it but stopped and went for something more complex.
Anyway I digress.
Once you find your sites you'll need to sign up and they'll provide you with a link top100sites.someurl.com/?9326 or something simular
You will have to provide them with a banner image so have one ready.
Now this is VERY IMPORTANT. Add that link to your website, if you don't and they check you'll just get ure link removed.
It doesn't have to be prominent just there in case its checked.
Finally once you have your link check how many views you need to get into the top 100.
Load up the proxies in prstorm, set delay to 5ish, set visits per url to the number of views you need, enable proxies and add your link to the urls.
It should be the only url in there.
Hit start and enjoy a nice pr4-5 link and lots of traffic from popular sites.
Don't be greedy, if you go from nothing to first, or overtake a really big referring site you'll call too much attention to yourself and that'll be the end of that.
