    Usually they *cough*finally*cough* replied within 3 days to 1 week after you submitted your complain/question, but now I have a ticked left hangin' without any single response for 12 days until today.
    Even your proxies are cheap, but with this kind of customer handling I just want to move on with some much better provider.

    There's no option on their website to cancel the subscriptions, so anyone please kindly tell me how to unsubscribe.

    I have not got back my money and yes they don't unsubscribe customers.. Anyone please have their skype ID or useful contact info..Have reported the scam to the credit card..

    You have to go to Paypal > Profile > My Money > My Preapproved Payments, and cancel the subscription.

    I have been an on and off user of Proxy51, and usually 60-80% of the proxies I've purchased will be listed as Live - and half of those will actually work. Support takes ages and has the most obtuse software I've ever had to deal with.

    I bought 50 proxies. not all 50 worked so I sent a support ticket. I received an automated email confirming the ticket was received and telling me I could log in and see responses, they would also be emailed to me.
    I was unable to log in as my email address was not recognized. I sent another ticket so that made 2 tickets on day 1.
    I heard nothing and never more than 35 of the proxies passed Google. On the second day asked for a refund. I waited and waited and asked again after 4 days. Its been a almost a week since i joined and i have had no emails, I cannot log in to my tickets to see if i had replies that were not emailed to me.I have now sent 4 tickets. I have not had a refund as far as I know by checking paypal. I am disappointed.
    I have since joined cheapprivateproxies, I had questions and issues, used their live chat and got everything sorted in a few minutes, even got bonus proxies and every proxy passes Google. If there is another way make contact please let me know because the support tickets are not working for me.

    All tickets replied to. All refunds requested given. I gave many of you a free month or more.

    Sorry for all the delays... we were overwhelmed with support tickets recently as we've been growing fast. Right now I'm the only support operator so support can take a while. Rest assured it is a priority for me right now to hire more support operators.

    Could you take a look at the ticket #3992, its been 24hours and I only have 15 out of 50 proxies on my list and 90% of the proxies are slows as hell only 3 that don't start with 173.* are actually working well.

    Pretty sad with the service just signup to it and am already having problems :( from all proxy services I've use before this 173 block is the slowest I ever seen and I am not even using any of the proxies for google related or heavy scrapping.

    Having some issues too, some proxies don't work.
    Though he seems to reply promptly now to his support email.
    There's ticket system which he did respond to. (Sorry can't post links yet)
    When/if he solves his issues this is gonna be great deal at this price.
    Will update here if this happens before I cancel my subscription and move on.

    I reply your last response (which was 18 days from my ticket submission) 4 days ago, and I still haven't got my confirmation about my cancellation request.
    I went to paypal and saw that there's no option to cancel my subscription, then I asked paypal about it.

    This is what I got:
    I'm speechless and shocked. I never know about this term nor way to suspend it.
    Please please please reply and cancel my subscription before next billing (July 20th), or else I need to do as paypal support's suggestion to remove my card and emptied my paypal balance during that moment.

    Look forward to hearing from you ASAP

    For nearly a month I used 200 of Proxy51's inexpensive, "35c Exclusive Shared Proxies," and I found them effective for keyword and url scraping. At any time, 40-80% of the proxies were Google pass with an even high even higher percentage working for other search engines.

    I highly recommend the service.

    I do note that customer service has its ups and downs. It's quite excellent with chatmasta going above and beyond the call of duty - BUT ONLY WHEN HE FINALLY REACHES YOU!

    If you are pressed for time, this can be troublesome. Responses to support tickets and emails may occur within 24 hours, and they may occur within several days, but they WILL occur. (I recommend using the support ticket, following up to billing at proxy51 or support at proxy51, and then ultimately - if necessary - coming here IN THAT ORDER.)

    Chatmasta has mentioned time and again that he pays less mind to these forums than the in-site ticket system, so please use those first.

    Note that Chatmasta has been very generous in the past with his resolutions, and there's no reason to expect he'll suddenly "turn." The only concern I've ever had is with response time, and it's hit or miss.

    But the proxies have been top-notch, and I will be using them again in the future and recommending others do the same.

    My praise aside, I do join esterm2010 in requesting a cancellation of the service. I only required it for one month, and I was unaware that cancellation occurred outside of PayPal. I had ordered several services at the time that I ordered Proxy51's service, and I cancelled them all thinking I had cancelled Proxy51 as well.

    On July 15, 2013 I saw my account was debited for an additional month of Proxy51's service from a charge that occurred on July 15, 2013. I requested a refund on July 15, 2013 using the billing and support emails while following up with a ticket.

    After 55 hours passed, I send a follow up email regarding my initial request. (On July 17, 2013). I'm sending this as another follow up, and I'm confident this issue will be resolved. For your convenience, Chatmasta, my ticket number is #4040.

    Thank you for offering such an inexpensive service, and hang in there. I know you have a lot of work to do. May you continue to do it well.

    LOL dmxn2k, I always use their system by submitting tickets.
    For your information, the default of their ticket is: your request/question ALWAYS set as "LOW PRIORITY" (I asked this once to them, when my ticket got no response in 3 days... THAT'S 72 HOURS from the submission).
    I also followed up the ticket, AND SEND ANOTHER MESSAGE on the 10th day when I haven't STILL DIDN'T HAVE ANY SINGLE RESPONSE.
    On the 15th day, BINGO!!! I have a reply asking if I still have problem since he had several issue (and you're RIGHT.. that's "WHEN HE FINALLY REACHES YOU!")

    Ticket submissions are automated, and a computer system can't really tell the difference between important from unimportant, so setting tickets' default priority to low makes sense.

    Still, I think Proxy51 thought they might use the feature, had it created, and just never did us it. So now it appears to be an artifact/virtual paperweight left over from the site's creation. My advise: treat it like a background color. *shrug*

    I may not be experienced enough to say this, but 15 days response time in this industry is slow. But 35c per proxy in this industry is LOW. Also, the quality is WHOA-WOW good, barring if anyone tries to use it for a few uses already warned against in this thread.

    So long as everyone has fair warning about the response time and fitness for a particular purpose (and I do believe past and present customers inform prospective customers), the service balances out as a very good one.

    edit: Just out of curiosity, have you ever tried to follow up with an email to their regular emails? If so, did it make a difference in response time?

    I just wanted to say that in regards my tickets I have received my refund without any issues, the support may take longer the expected but he does take care of it.
