All - I am operating from Non-US territory, and i want to create profile as if I am in the US.

What is the best way to pose as if I am operating from the US ? Proxy or VPN ??

Proxy are sometimes pain, hence, if any one could plz share VPN experience - I would be very thank full.

Also kindly tell me which VPN provider should I go for

I have used proxies in the past, but currently using VPN.
Proxies have their "live time limit", you have to mess with your net browser settings or you have to use third party software for all your traffic to be sent through proxy.
With VPN you have stable connection (99.9% of time with great speed, depends on company you choose though). You don't need to use any extra software or mess with browser settings.

IMO VPN is better and most of the time cheeper than using proxies. I'm currently using blackVPN service it's free, but you have to get invited to be able to use it. Search google, you might find some giveaway codes, well I found it this way...

i am using vpn too because is much more securty and stable. never have a problem. now i am using purevpn... share ip or dedicated it work perfectly. .
i bought a share ip and they give me 4 diferent of diferent countries.
i use the uk ip to buy in oh.co.uk and they neever noticed that i am not in uk

i think better use vpn , and i think it is cheaper than use sock or proxy, only 6$ per month

If you need encryption to avoid blocks in your country (china as example) a VPN is the best choice.
If you don't need that you'll want a normal proxy.
It's easier to use and you can easily switch your IP with them.

VPN's are fat

Vpns are cool if you need ips not just for the browser but for some programs also. Just a server switch-IP change takes 3-4 min :S if i could have a soft that does it auto that would be the better. im using VPNs now, but for posting on cl its better to use proxies

Who do you guys suggest for proxies. I can't seem to find a quality service, I'm willing to pay for good (fast) proxies.

ive bought vpn 5days ago from strongvpn.com im more than happy with it

i took package of 3cities - $50 per year - and dynamic IP everytime i reconnect, and its fast also, loads site same speed as without proxy
