So far, most of the techniques I have seen here or read about advise you to 'use a proxy'.

I think I know what a proxy does now. My question is...how do you use them? Where do you find them?

I tried the 'search' function here and didn't turn up too much info.

    Thanks.

Google "TOR" It's the easiest to use and very effective.

Hey, this is great. Thanks. Very easy to install and use...and my IP address keeps changing.

So, here is an interesting question. What's to keep one from clicking one's own AdSense ads using these types of programs, hypothetically speaking?

    Hello,
Google has other ways to check you're clicking your own ads (Cookies, stats, ...) Don't try to cheat with them, you will loose.

Alternatively, you can find many other proxies here:
    proxy.org

    Cheers.
