Proxy in my side

Hello everyone, I want to know! ist possible proxy affect on any Messengers
like I am using Yahoo and Google Talk Messenger and ICQ, I am facing Audio challenge I can hear the voices from other side and some time cutting specially
if I chat for over seas... OR Do Yahoo Messenger having problems with calling system in general ! Plz if any one can help guide me, thanks to all teams

Using a proxy for that kind of high-bandwidth application (not so much the messenger itself, but using audio chat) is going to cause problems every time. The data has to go through too many places to get back and forth.

Unless you're using a private vpn of your own it's always going to be like that. Even then, it's tenuous.

Thanx apekillape for the information's, U know what I take out the proxy even getting same problem specailly in Yahoo I cant make call it want work.....
