Should I go for VPN server or buy proxies for scrapebox?
Which one of these will have a higher success rate?

I'm thinking of buying a VPN server with
512 MB Ram Guaranteed/1024 MB Ram Burstable
    40 GB Discspace
    1000 Mbps connection speed
    300 GB Bandwidth

    Is it good?

Do I need anything else if I buy VPN server or should I buy 3-4 private proxies? Coz I haven't had much success with public proxies as the success rate was very low.

    Thanx,

You will need both. Proxies is to be abble to post fast, and VPS not to use your computer 24/7. Its not X or Y but X AND Y!

Why buy VPS server? just get a VPN at: http://hidemyass.com/vpn/r336/
I also use private proxies: http://www.yourprivateproxy.com/386.html

I use the VPN with the public proxies when harvesting and doing a PR check, anything but posting. This way I dont burn out my private proxies. The VPN acts as a safety precaution to hide my IP.
I use the private proxies for posting only. Do not use them to harvest as you will burn them out and get them banned. I personally use 20 private proxies a month for all 4 of my scrapebox machines. The 10 IP package will be enough.

You need to buy vps because it has many advantages. You can run your scarpebox 24/7 and the connection is mostly 30-100 mbps. Your scapebox will 20 times more efficient if you are using vps than using your pc. As for the proxies you can use free proxies.

Miminum Of how many private proxies should I buy?
10 proxies will get very expensive. Is it ok if I go for shared proxies?
I'm thinking of 3-4 private proxies. Is it more then satisfying for SB?

It seems there are a lot of confusion between VPN and VPS.

I was wondering too what was the best choice between VPN (sic) and proxies. I run Scrapebox on a virtual machine + VPN (to hide my tracks) right now and plan to move to a VPS.

Thanks in advance for you answers.
Now I am wondering if I should set up my VPN (openVPN stuff) on the VPS and run Scrapebox without proxies, or if I should use proxies in Scrapebox and drop the VPN idea.

So.. VPS, yes for sure! But about the hiding part, VPN or proxies?

Costwise, VPN is 6 bucks a month, pretty high bandwith, but have to try on a 100mbits line though.
Proxies, no idea about cost, but bandwith shouldn't be a limitation.
