Protecting Keyword Lists

I almost put this in the Writing Forum but it looks like it's all people who want to get rich off of AC.

Anyway, for those in Niche Marketing...I've been wondering something. If you are hiring someone to write articles/pages for you (1 keyword/page), there isn't any way to protect those keywords, is there? That writer can go take your keyword list himself and do what you're doing without all the donkey work you went through to get those keywords in the first place.

So are there any precautions one should take before handing over your keyword list to a writer?

I outsource all of my content (blog posts/articles/free reports). It's not that difficult to find keywords, because most of us are using the same tools. What folks are most sensitive with is the actual NICHE. I focus on the highly competitive niches (dating, weight loss, debt consolidation, credit repair, etc.) because of the amount of traffic that is available. If you're in a niche that you don't want anyone to know about, hire writers that are not on IM forums Instead, hire local high school/college students/stay at home moms that are not internet marketers.

great advice. i found all my best keywords became domain names over time. if in doubt buy them out.
