Hi guys,

I wanted to shatter the myth that you cannot get ranked with crappy spun content. Sure you need good content for getting sales but when you're simply trying to prove a fact then it doesn't matter if the content is readable or not. It only has to be unique.

I made a blog on blogspot almost a month ago for a keyword having this much competition

What I did was take content from another blog targeting that same product, spinning it (not manually), posting it and then started a GSA campaign on it. Once I saw that the anchor text was diluted enough, I built a few links to it from my blog network targeting the main keyword.

It's at #10 now

I've ordered content for it in case some asshole goes on reporting it to Google and I get hit with a manual penalty.

Once I've posted some good looking unique content on it I will hit it with more blog posts to bring it up further.

How many searches does it have?

How many spun articles you have on th e site right now?

Look pretty low competition to me

I rank some of my websites with 100% copied content. I rank higher than the original sites. I do this for niches targeting languages I can't speak. So yes, spun content, copied content, whatever. If you use the tools right, you will rank.

Just one. The other blog had a 1500 words review on the frontpage so I only took that.

50

you are right.

No, it's 5 searches actually. If you don't believe me have a look at the serpbook stats.

Absolutely. The one important thing here though is anchor text dilution. If you have that right then you shouldn't have any issues.

Should be some useful information for those who are just looking to rank sites for churn and burn (or even put up good content eventually like you're doing).

Good job OP!

yes you can rank with spun content, but soon enough your ranking will tank, and duplicate content aint a myth mate. Give your site some time for Google to catch you will get derank.

If you're ranking 10 you may as well be ranking 100.

Above the fold or bust.

I know and I haven't stopped working at it. You're missing the point here.

I've clearly written in the OP that I've ordered content for it and I'm going to replace the spun garbage with it asap.

Nice.

English term? (google.com) ?

They do manual reviews on high $ keywords. You can rank for a while in a medium/low competition niche, but soon as a human has a look it'll be manually removed.

Google hires thousands of "quality assurance"(Google profit assurance) people. When Google says they don't mess with the results by hand, they are lying through their teeth. If you have friends in there you can get any site removed if you want.

Any proof/examples of this?

Right! Pick the niches which google don't have interest in, and you will be all good.

I am using 100% dupe content and ranking for 40k + niches just with one post.

it's a hit and miss (but, usually it's hit )
