Can anyone here with experience chime in as to what the most effective methods for promoting zip submits are?

I am going to bottom line this for you, the only CPA I extensively mess with is content locker. Bottom line, any traffic throw it there then give customer what they want. Leadbolt offers about .33 a click.

There's not much to it really. You just say, "Here's your free shit, all you need is your zip code / email address blah blah blah" and they sign up. I love zip & email submits. :)

You have to test a lot though, because there are tons of scammy advertisers who will scrub you hard. Keep on testing until you find the golden nuggets that convert well. The beauty of CPA offers is that, unlike credit card sales, you don't need a lot of traffic to test out what converts and what doesn't.

OK that is true. I just got frustrated with the bitchin about the quality of my traffic even on legit conversions. Content lock is just more wide open. Where did the traffic come from, unless you are leveraging something really nasty, is not a question I generally have to deal with. I throw traffic, legit incent conversions and get paid. Less offer value, but less headache, but for zips CL jobs method works well. A good method is tell applicant you need a website consultant to test functionality, paid by site, enter in info and test for speed, graphics, etc. Older method but works. 1. CL, 2. Collect emails, 3. upload emails to outlook with autoresponder ready to go.
