Hi I recently found this forum and have got some great information over the last few days. Please excuse my noobie questions

I am looking for some tips on ways to promote my eBooks.

I have 17 eBooks in the dating/seduction/sex niche that I am giving away for free on my website and selling from my eBay store for $0.99.

I have been searching around for ideas and have come up with...

I have found sites sites such as ebookee and softpedia that accept submissions of ebooks. Any more popular/big sites I should consider ? If any one has a list of smaller sites I can look at that'll be great.

Is there a way of getting ebooks listed in sites such as download.com even though they are .pdf and not .exe ?

Torrents - I intend to upload the ebooks to the main torrent sites - torrentspy, mininova and thepriatebay. Any others I should consider ? I know very little about torrents so other pointers to good guides would be handy. I don't want to go down the route of creating fake torrents but would it be feasible to download some relevant torrents add a couple of my ebooks to the package as bonus items and re-upload them ?

    Thanks in advance
    David

Well you can submit to any site that only allows exe or zip, just make a setup file to install the ebook onto the desktop. Using some Setup installer program. Easily done.

Next question, torrents, as for a list of torrent sites there easily googled, not being nasty here or anything but theres more sites if you google than me pasting here. Serious you could even search for something like "torrent site list" etc...

I think theres a product on clickbank that gives paid access to a member online ebook directory, if your serious you might concider that.

Thanks Harro. I have tried Googling for a list of torrent sites but how do I know which the big ones are and which are worth posting too. I presume its like directory submissions where they are only a few which are worth the time and effort.

    Cheers Harro.

Am still a bit confused as to whether I should be uploading my torrent files to a lots of these torrent sites or to just one or two.

BTW Found some great info on Ruck's blog about making money with Torrents and P2P but not an answer to this question (not sure on forum rules as to whether I should link to it)
