Hi, I was doing some amazon product research and I have found that the product I am going for has the following:

    8k searches daily

    2,920,000 pages

Now, the sites that are in the top 10 are sites like:

    amazon
    blockbuster
    cnet
    tesco
    curry's
    asda

The actualy backlink to the pages is 0 excep amazon which has 10.

Now I think I could easily take the keyword but here is my problem.

If I make a amazon niche site should I only promote the product with a single page review or offer other alternatives?

These are authority sites, you must check proper competition before entering this niche or product review. Anyway Review sites are best for Amazon, you can also create your E-store!

I used MS to check the SEO on the sites and they have next to no backlinks and they don't have there on site optimised.

I can blast with SB and then get some web 2.0 sites done and blast them. I can get an AMR done and I have about 30 .edu blogs which are high pr so I think I have a chance of taking it.
