Anyone here are directories' owner (paid,bidding or free)? How do you promote a new directory and get people to submit their links before you build up backlinks and increase the PR of the directory? And any other methods to increase the PR faster? thanks
if you have a directory u need it to have a high PR. if you accomplish that people will line up just to be in your directory. there is no shortcut to PR. just increase ur backlinks, comment on blogs or use comment kahunna [its free] and best of all write articles and distribute them via a reliable distribution services
invest in buying links from free hosting sites.google hasn't cracked them down yet.i used them and got pr5 next update. also directories will only earn you money if you create and promote them as a brand like for example aviva.
