I have an anime video website with embedded links from sites like megavideo etc .I've just finished it and i want to start to promote it.I don't really know where to start and i would really appreciate if you could give me some tips...Thanks

Post on some anime forums. Get a twitter account, start adding people interested in anime and start posting tweets. Look for some facebook groups and post there. That should get you started.

have a look for the top 100 anime sites and enter your site in there, and hopefully people will see it and vote for it. There are a few sites like this were you can enter your site and get it recognised.

Another suggestion. Make some sample clips, watermark them with your site url and upload them on youtube and other video sites.

Watermark a few sample clips and upload on youtube. this will get you lots of visitors especially after release days

Submit to television link sites. Do this and you will get popular fast. Then just figure out a way to monetize and you got enough to invest in other things.
