There are authority sites like dead.net, generating pretty nice overall traffic on which you can get a do follow link from a created profile. On the other hand majestic almost always show such links got 0 TF. Is it actually worth getting such backlinks for t1?

You won't get any big results just from profiles these days, but it's worth it go get several links like that from biggest sites that allow that just for link diversity.

Try to create profiles from related websites. Don't just focus in getting backlinks out of this. They're not as strong as before but it can get you traffic to your website.

Those profile links should be placed on your tier 2 instead.

how are profile links supposed to give you traffic? A user may click them by chance but that's it.

A few quality profile links are ok *IF* they are on sites that are HIGHLY relevant to your site. Like virtually the exact same topic. This is helpful because Google likes to see relevant sites linking to you, it won't push much link juice per se, but it will make your link profile more relevant. That all said, a few are more than enough, and don't dorp them all at once.

So I spend money for PBNs that are supposed to bring link juice to my money site. Which other backlinks I can get for free in order to diversify the link profile?

Free? For free you can build web2.0's, make forum posts, comment on blogs, and yes do profile links if you so desire. But if you're this unsure about SEO I would suggest you learn more before getting too far ahead of yourself. There are many ways you can do more harm than good if you screw things up.

I have success using PBNs because I get higher in serps. This is where I want to invest my money because they pass quite good link juice. Now I am looking for some best and free alternatives to diversify my link profile.

Profile links are not as good as they used to be. Of course you can create profiles on niche websites with a link to your website, but don't bet much on them, though profile links are good to diversify your backlink profile.

Looks like automated profiles now are pretty useless. Those auto generated ones with no forum posting, or no activities, and are generated by SEO software - those looks like have no link value left. But profiles that are active and present in high profile forums, those may pass a little link juice though.

I only build them if I can blast them with spam through various link shortening services. Also, it seems to be the only way to get most of them to index, whereas only a handful of GSA spam gets/stays indexed so its only a tiny push. I also only do brand/homepage links, and if I can write a piece of content will interlink them.

Also, if the profile links are ********, you can look up popular pages with moz or ahrefs and comment on them, that way you can get a bit of trickle happening from those pages to your profile for an added push. I cant be fucked with it unless I actually care about the forum, but you can just get people off fiverr to make posts over a period of time.
