I have ranked 100s of sites over the years using PBNs and web 2.0s but never really bothered with other link types as these got the job done.

I do however have a couple of sites that need an extra boost.

Since I like to buy cheap, one time payment tools, I bought the profile/edu creator from the marketplace.

I understand that they should be used for diversity but I have not tested the effectiveness of profile links in about 5 years.

Are profile links (with 2nd and maybe 3rd tier links) effective these days, ranking wise?

Im going to test the effects soon but thought I would check with you guys first

Focus on brand profiling on sites with DA 50+ and PR 5+. They still gives your website a boost if you know how to indexed them properly.

A small handful of profiles from quality sites as described above are good for your link profile. Dump hundreds (or thousands) of profiles from the push of a button can actually harm you, however. So be careful OP. Fronkly I'm surpised you haven't run into more issues given the fact you use such heavy PBN/web2.0 rations. Research link diversity. It could be helpful for you.

    Thanks for the tips guys.

I was not going to blast my sites with profile links, just use a handfull and back them up with a second and third tier.

As for diversity. I have not bothered with that for years and had no problems ranking (apart from someone reporting my pbn a few months back but I didnt hide it very well)

I wouldn't bother with profile links. They are not worth it anymore, and chances are they will do more harm than good.

None what so ever? What would you recommend profile links for?

Im doubtfull that a handfull of profiles would tank a site, but like I said, its been years since I last used them
