You put your website link (ex. http://yourwebsite.com) in the "url/website" section of the profile (usually in the about me part) and you put your link in the "signature" section in the format of:

    Code:
    <a href="http://yourwebsite.com">Your Anchor</a>.
    That's it.

Ps. don't forget to save your profile after you've made the changes!

Also make sure to check if the links are "do follow" or "no follow". You can do this by downloading the no do follow firefox plugin

Throw some fresh content - hire a copy writer to write a few articles and then just break those up into mini segments and throw them up.

You need to provide some text in profiles. This will make Google think the links are more legitimate.

I second Micallef. I have now come to believe that google values the amount of text on the link page, and if your link is within that text. So a long 800 word article and a link coming in from it has a lot more value than a directory submission (or a bare profile link). It just makes plain sense it would work this way.

So if I am right, you need to add some text to your profile.
