MNF is showing me 246k searches on exact for a product so i have taken the dot.com...

Now there are over 3million pages competing for this keyword phrase but MNF shows me a green tick with number 9 in it.

    OCI says 97%

Have i landed on a potential gold mine here? This product sells for around $300-$350

I would plan to sell this product obviously but just hope that the branded company wont want to take it off my hands once i hit #1 with it ;)

Anyone had experience with this? Should i be feeling happy?

sounds like a winner.. with a high OCI also.

biggest concern is the actual company coming after you.

but... you might be able to get half a year with it..

good for short term adsense money probably

would suggest that you try to plan ahead to not have them grab your domain because of trademark violation.

    - look at doing something like adding "fan" or "club" to the domain to make it clear that you're not
    - add a disclaimer in your legal that you have nothing to do with the company, don't represent them, etc.
    - if there's a way you can make it look like it's a potential mispelling or something possible different, even better (ie if you're going after "new balance shoes" try something like "new balance techniques" or "new balancing methods" that you can claim aren't direct violation) (don't think I'm outing anyone's nice there, however if I am mods please feel free to adjust)
    - look through CJ and CPA sites and see if the stuff you're planning to ad doesn't prevent advertising on sites that are "brands of competitor's products" - some advertising campaigns prevent you from doing that.

Get Market samurai and further analyse the competition. If it seems weak, hit it hard and you´ll have it!

Just remember to protect yourself, as mentioned previously.

I'd say go for it! If they came back with a C&D letter or something and try to get the domain from you just say that you are selling the product(s) for them so what's the problem?

If that doesn't work. Well at least you made some money from it before they took it back.

Thats pretty lucky. What a good find! I do hope that they dont interfere with you, but i think you could still get some use out of it until they do! Unless you can find a way around getting them, of course.
