I want to launch a membership site, but have two questions: Must I have a finished product? Lets say the training is running for 4 months, and every month I upload new content. Do I have to present the affiliate partners and testimonials the whole product or just the part of the first month?

This wouldnt be a problem if this would not be my first mem site. But so nobody of the affiliates knows how the content will look like in the following months and the trust is pretty low, so I am asking myself if I should make the whole product first, show it to my partners and THEN split it in four parts for the mem site.

Ok, thanks in advance for answering my question.

    Hey Michael,

No - don't wait until you have created all your content - you'll probably never start the site if you try that. Get the first chunk together and start.

And no, get generic testimonials and use them to get your site going. Affiliates will want to know before the site is launched anyway.

Have you checked out Yaro Starak - he's just released his new membership site masterplan report - it's free - and will give you stacks of good advice on these types of things - I've just written a long review of it.

    See [myusername].com/go/msm/

Also, don't waste time and money on building a website from scratch and integrating the expensive membership systems, use wordpress and the wishlist plugin - you'll be up and running in hours.

Good luck with the site - and remember the best advice:

"Getting it going is more important than getting it right.." :)

p.s. my affiliate link to wishlist plugin is [myusername].com/go/wishlist/ - I have a developers license and use it on all my membership sites - it's the best.
