If a CPA program doesn't mention whether or not it allows incentivized traffic, is it fine if I send that traffic?

I just don't want problems come payment time. Is there anything wrong with offering like a wallpaper for a site sign up?

Do you think it's fine? Also (this is separate), have you ever used incentivized traffic even WHEN it was disallowed? And did you get your payment?

I just want to know what's acceptable to do.

In my opinion (I can't tell for sure as I never got in this situation),
The CPA network will always have the last word, and it would be a mistake to send non-alowed traffic.
Best solution : ask your affiliate manager directy.

If you send incent traffic, the conversion on their backend will get low and they'll know in a matter of days.

I had a buddy who ran incent traffic on non-incent leads and he banked around $3k.

A few days later he got an email from his CPA network stating that he broke the offer's TOS and was told he wasn't getting paid.

He also got his account banned from the network.

So be careful running this type of traffic. Always talk to your AM if you're unsure.
