I registered a domain at GD but there was a problem completing the transaction and my account is now locked.

To complete the transaction I must now send documents proving I am who I say I am, despite the fact that the problem was with my financial institution and is now corrected. This would be fine but it is also a pain in the ass.

Now under whois it says my domain is:

Name Server: NS1.SUSPENDED-FOR.SPAM-AND-ABUSE.COM
Name Server: NS2.SUSPENDED-FOR.SPAM-AND-ABUSE.COM

WTF is that?

I am wondering - can I just cancel the transaction with them and go with a different provider? Or would it be easier and faster to simply go through the hoops and complete this registration?

When I search for the domain it now shows up as no longer available. If it sis possible to 'cancel', how long would I need to wait before the domain is no longer "taken"?

What would you do?

I think that domain will be locked to godaddy now until to complete their requests. If it's a good domain you should just do it.
